On Friday 21st June we will be welcoming Matt Eades, winemaker and owner of Amour Wines, to the tasting bench.
Matt has two wines to show, both of which have received acclaim from wine guru James Halliday. With his 2015 and 2016 Amour Shiraz both receiving 95 points, and the 2017 Chardonnay 93 points, this is a launch that one only dreams about.
2016 Amour Shiraz: “Hand-picked, open-fermented with 10% whole bunches, nearly 2 years in French oak (25% new). There’s more than enough spicy/peppery black berry/cherry fruit aromas and flavours to fill the senses before you come to the finish and the burst of New Year fireworks on the long, lingering aftertaste. Striking. 95/100” James Halliday
Both the Shiraz and Chardonnay will be open to taste from around 4.15 until 6pm, so drop by.
Both wines are available online here.
