Thirsty Crow Brewing Co. set out to establish a fiercely independent, family owned Brewpub in the heart of country town Wagga Wagga. It was a return to home for head brewer and owner Craig Wealands having earnt his stripes in the brewing scene of the Sunshine Coast alongside industry legend Ian Watson (Head Brewer for Murrays, Fortitude, and Hunter Beer Co).
It didn’t take him long to make a name for himself with his own brand.
Just 3 months into opening, having only put a few fresh batches through his own brewery, Craig’s flagship beer the ‘Vanilla Milk Stout’ was awarded “Best Hybrid Beer” at the Australian International Beer Awards.
