“It seemed like a good idea at the time” – was the pretext for setting up the Ravensworth Wine Estate in 2001 by family owners Brian, Jocelyn and David Martin in the picturesque country of Murrumbateman.
And thank goodness they continued – Small batch, a gentle hand, no harsh chemicals used, just a focus on letting the fruit do its thing. Rightly so too, for the wines speak volumes in character, flavour, and value.
Available now are their 2019 Ravensworth Sangiovese and Shiraz Viognier as well as a clever white field blend known as ‘The Grainery’.
